Tattoo Girl and a Love Bear

Here is the completed Tatt Girl for MizzMonsta.  I am really happy with how she turned out.  MizzMonsta sent me a photograph of herself and it turns out this Tattooed pillow monster looks just like her!  Amazing.
Thank you MizzMonsta!!!!!!!!!

Here is the female Love Bear.  I did find a tiny silver bead to use as a wedding band.  Now I need to make her Panda Bear counterpart.  He has blond hair and will be wearing a bow-tie.

This weekend my friend Gretch and her two bumpkins are staying with me though, so I won't have anything to show tomorrow or the next day.  I am going to double-time it on Monday though because I got into a juried arts festival here in Bloomington, and that is in early June.  Also, I was so excited to receive an acceptance email to the Crammed Organism's show that will be in St. Louis the entire month of June.  Their theme is Fable, Folk, Fantasy.  To apply you had to describe what you would make and submit pictures of your work.  I have 3 weeks to make something, and I am pumped.  I want to keep it top secret until she is finished, but I have to warn you that a darker side of me may come out in this one.

We are going to the Indianapolis Children's Museum today which is supposedly one of the best in the country.  I always want to go to children's museums, but I lack the children, so now is my chance!

Have a great time today at the Children's Museum. My parents lived in Indy and every time we visited them we went there - it's the most amazing place (definitely not just for kids)!

BTW, the love bear is looking great!

unrelated to love bear. . . are gertrude and marty like, a thing? because I am considering offering gertrude and "extended" stay pretty far away from him.

Stacy,
Thanks about the Love Bear. Sadly, one of Gretch's bumpkins woke up a little sick so we missed out on the Museum. One day, one day.

Lisa,
No, their feelings toward one another are totally platonic. If you are saying what I think you are saying, you should know that this month I have very special deals for wedding photographers!
