Super Trunk

Super Trunk takes a stand against pollution.  Super Trunk's real name is Melvin, but he needed to develop his Super alter ego because the way some people treat the environment makes him very angry.  He wears his super hero costume when he picks up trash on the section of the highway he adopted.  As he picks up the litter, he sings a special song:
If you see a piece of litter pick it up!  PICK IT UP!
If you see a piece of litter pick it up!  PICK IT UP!
If you see apiece of litter, don't be bitter pick it up,
If you see a piece of litter pick it up.
PICK IT UP!

Now, I know what some of you are thinking, "Why Nichol!  What an unfortunate leaf placement!"  But, the thing is, pre-fluff that belt looked a lot higher.  Post fluff, the belt looks lower and Melvin looks like he's from the Garden of Eden.  However, I still find Melvin endearing and even though his super logo placement is a bit ridiculous, someone might find him to be very charming and want to adopt him as is.  Sigh.

On a different note, I received Suze's mail art today.  It was incredibly fun, and such a delightful treat to find in my mail box---that envelope used to be white, if you can believe that--and look!  Suze on a stamp!  And!  Inside were these great tags---my favorite being the Pillow Monster tag.  Thanks so much---I'm definitely going to have to cook something up for you.

She has great fabric up in her shop. Really great. And, she ships super duper fast---I got mine in just a couple of days after I ordered it!
