and today, a finger puppet

This is Cynthia.  Cynthia loves a good time.  She could turn the world on with her smile.  Everyone invites her into their home because she has this electric personality and can rally boogie down.  It was always her dream to be on Soul Train.  Her favorite musician is James Brown.  She has a goldfish named James Brown that she won at the county fair.
Ummm.  I love Cynthia.  Maybe because she is so tiny compared to the other pillow monsters and I always root for the runt of the litter.

Today was Joseph and my 1st anniversary, so I am including a picture from a year ago today.  It was FUN getting married, but my face hurt the next day because of all the smiling.  We agreed on no gifts, but Joseph went and surprised me with this AMAZING book of Paul Klee's hand puppets.  They are all very rough puppets, but so beautiful and full of life, and who knew that Paul Klee made puppets?  I love finding out things like that.  Joseph rocks my socks off and I love, love, love him.   (!)

For our anniversary we ate delicious curry and watched several episodes of season one of the Mary Tyler Moore show, which he grew up watching on Nick at Night and I had never seen before because I didn't have cable as a kid.  I actually really love the show.  That Mary Tyler Moore is quite the charmer.  I also can't get the theme song out of my head, which is why Cynthia the finger puppet can "turn the world on with her smile".
